Dear Friend of the IRR,

Are you going to vote on 29 May?

In every election since 2009, voter turnout has declined. Voting is the most powerful nonviolent way to hold the government accountable, but more and more South Africans feel that their voices are not being heard by those in power – something the IRR's polling continues to prove.

Most South Africans feel the government should prioritise creating jobs and fighting crime and corruption over implementing race-based policies and land reform. They want real opportunities to build a better life for themselves and their families, but the current government is not delivering.

Now, after 30 years of ANC rule, it is starting to look like South Africa's political future lies in coalitions. The 2024 elections are going to be the most competitive and exciting since 1994, and your vote is vitally important for your future, and the future of this country.

To get more people to the polls in this year's elections, we started the #PledgeToVote campaign. By rallying South Africans to encourage one another to register and vote, we believe voter apathy can be reversed and together we can keep South Africa's democracy strong and healthy.

Over 32 000 South Africans have committed to voting on 29 May, and that number is growing daily.

Click here and #PledgeToVote to join them. South Africa needs more pro-growth, pro-freedom, and pro-prosperity people like you to vote for a better future for our country.

 Live Free. Prosper.
